Question by Jasper Handaz: What is the Titan 450 V2 RC Helicopter like?
Hey, I am reasonably new to the hobby, and i am also cash strapped 
is this heli any good? will it cost more in the long run than a blade 450? i know the blades are gonna be better quality and everything. But will the Titan give me a few years? also can you get parts from them or do the Trex parts suit?
or maybe you have another suggestion for a cheaper collective pitch 450ish?

Have you ever flown? Do you have a good simulator like Realflight ( www.realflight.com ) or Phoenix? Have you ever flown Collective Pitch? Fixed Pitch? What is your background.
The mini titan and the blade 450 are both good 450 sized heli's. I would however suggest an Align T-Rex 450 SPORT (not pro!). Belt driven heli's are easier to fix and until you get good I would not suggest a torque tube helicopter like the T-Rex 450 Pro.
If you want to go a little bigger, Try a Compass Atom 500 or a T-Rex 500E (the belt driven version!).
One more thing: If you're cash strapped, this hobby isn't for you. A great first collective pitch helicopter is infact the Blade MCPX...don't overlook this little bird. If you're strapped for cash right now, that's the way to go and chances are your local hobby shop stocks parts for it. (check it out at www.bladehelis.com) Hope this helps and enjoy this great fun, hard and rewarding hobby my friend!

In a small RC helicopter for example a Trex 450. How do you calculate the reaction torque. that is the torque exerted to the body from the rotation from the rotor blades that causes the entire helicopter body to spin. specific numbers would be great in the Trex 450 example. thank you.
I mean to ask whats the max torque that could possably be put on it when it yaws. i understand that the forces will cancel out if there is no yaw.

If the helicopter is not experiencing an yaw acceleration (not changing its yaw rate), then the sum of the torques on it must be zero (about the main rotor axis). Therefore, the torque exerted on the body by the main rotor must be equal and opposite to the torque exerted on the body by the tail rotor.
As for the exact numbers for your particular RC helicopter, I neither know nor care.

Thanks for all the comments and for making this video as popular as it is. This is Trex 600 (electric) kit. Can be purchased at most R/C hobby stores or ebay. The Airwolf fuselage can be purchased from centuryheliDOTcom. For electronics, I have 3 futaba 9252 servos on the collective. Futaba GY401 gyro and 9254 servo on the tail. For power, I am using a Rhino 6 cell 4900 mah LiPo battery and a Thunder Power 2 cell 2100 mah LiPo battery. Align carbon fiber main and tail blades. Upgraded aluminum main blade holders. Was using a Spectrum DX7 and AR7000 receiver at the time of video. We estimated total cost was about $2500 usd and about 100 hours of build and set-up time. There was alot of beer involved!
