This miniaturized Align Trex 250 Radio Controlled Helicopter flies very well and parts are easily obtained. This Align Trex 250 helicopter is perfect for those who don't have space to fly or can only fly at small fields or parks. The Align Trex 250 can be setup for both the 3D pilot in mind or a beginner that is not use to the sensitive controls. This little helicopter resembles Align's popular 450-sized helicopters with some little flairs from the 500-sized TREX.
Transmitter - Spektrum DX6i
The 6-channel DX6i uses the same full-range DSM2™ technology found in the Spektrum DX7 and includes an impressive list of programming features for helicopters that are simple to access and use. The DX6i is also compatible with all existing Spektrum aircraft receivers. Whatever kind of flying you do, the DX6i can be used for any existing Helicopter that requires 6-channels or less. This is perfect for the Trex 450 RC Helicopter and about half the price of a DX7.
Receiver - Spektrum AR6100e
At only 4.4 grams and 19.0 x 40.0 x 9.0mm (WxLxH), the AR6100E is the ultimate 2.4GHz receiver for most any small electric model from mini profile foamies to 400 class helis. Because it uses advanced DSM2™ technology, it is only compatible with DSM2 aircraft radio and module systems. It also boasts a wide input range that allows it to operate with 3.5- to 9.6-volt electrical systems. The range would be further than you would ever fly safely.
Gyro - Futaba GY401
This is the GY401 Gyro with SMM Technology from Futaba. This is a High Performance, Compact and Lightweight (AVCS) Angular Vector Control System gyro developed for model helicopters. Because the sensor and control circuit are integrated, it is simple to install. This is spot on the money, as close to plug and play as you will get. This is now seen as an "older" type of Gyro although still readily available. It is a simple and robust winner and will be around for some time.

The outrunner high efficiency blushless motor was invented for T-Rex 250. Not only the superior torque and the explosive force, the 250 motor armature had a special balance adjust to improve the serious shaking problem that other tiny motors have.
