Of the various Align Trex Radio Controlled helicopters available in the market today, the Trex 450 SE V2 is its flagship model.
Transmitter - Spektrum DX6i
The 6-channel DX6i uses the same full-range DSM2™ technology found in the Spektrum DX7 and includes an impressive list of programming features for helicopters that are simple to access and use. The DX6i is also compatible with all existing Spektrum aircraft receivers. Whatever kind of flying you do, the DX6i can be used for any existing Helicopter that requires 6-channels or less. This is perfect for the Trex 450 RC Helicopter and about half the price of a DX7.
Receiver - Spektrum AR6200
The AR6200 DSM2 6-channel receiver is a great solution for any helicopter requiring up to six channels. This DuaLink receiver simultaneously gathers information from two receivers that is processed by Spektrum software that combines it to form the most vivid picture of an RF signal. This dual path redundancy, plus the fact each of the two receivers is located in a slightly different location, exposes each to a different RF environment and creates a bulletproof RF link in all conditions. The range would be further than you would ever fly safely. This may seem a little to much bullet proofing but saves you worrying when flying.
Gyro - Futaba GY401
This is the GY401 Gyro with SMM Technology from Futaba. This is a High Performance, Compact and Lightweight (AVCS) Angular Vector Control System gyro developed for model helicopters. Because the sensor and control circuit are integrated, it is simple to install. This is spot on the money, as close to plug and play as you will get.This is now seen as an "older" type of Gyro although still readily available. It is a simple and robust winner and will be around for some time.
Motor - Align 430XL
New longer rotor and stator (no idea what that is) make for great torque performance. It has continuous beef even when flying extreme 3D. Motor covers use thread to fix, features bump resistance. Pure metal high speed CNC precise processing. Special cooling fan design. Effectively reduces load rotation temperature of motor(load temperature of outer case: 45-55C. Test ambient temperature: 20C). Light weight, High efficiency, Long service life. An excellent brushless motor from Align with loads of power.

NOTE: Apply cable ties to the bottom of the motor as there are reports of the Align 430XL heating up and the bottom falling out. That done, fly with confidence.
Align RCE-BL35X ESC with Governor
This ESC is rated for 35 amps continuous. It has over 200 steps of resolution for very smooth throttle performance. The BEC is rated for 6 volts at 2A max current.
Tail Servo -Digital - FUTABA S3153
This is the S3153 Digital High Speed Micro Mini Servo, Designed for use with Futaba Radio Control Systems. This Servo is the Digital High Speed version of the S3103 Servo. This is more than enough for the T-rex 450, small but punchy.
